A long-established heritage in prestressing engineering
The CCL name has a long history in prestressed concrete technology. By the 1970s, CCL Systems Limited was developing and supplying recognised prestressing technologies including the Cabco, Multiforce and Strandforce systems, together with specialist stressing equipment used in concrete construction and precast production.
Historical engineering literature also records CCL Stressomatic stressing equipment being used specifically within precast concrete production.
That heritage subsequently became part of Ancon CCL before the establishment of CCL Stressing Systems Ltd in 2000, which continued the specialist precast, post-tensioning and engineering activities associated with the CCL name.
CCL Precast is the specialist precast division of that business today.
