The CCL XL3 Cleaning Brush is designed for the effective cleaning and routine maintenance of XL3 prestressing barrels. Its specially tapered profile allows the brush to reach and clean the internal body of the barrel, helping to remove lubricant residue, dirt and other build-up.
 
Designed to fit a standard drill chuck, the brush allows the barrel to be cleaned quickly and consistently as part of regular equipment maintenance. The tapered construction follows the internal shape of the barrel, providing effective contact across areas that may be difficult to reach using a conventional straight brush.
 
Regular cleaning of prestressing barrels is essential to support correct wedge seating, reliable grip performance and easier dismantling after stressing. Removing debris and excess residue also helps to reduce unnecessary wear and prolong the service life of both the barrel and wedge components.
 
A range of CCL cleaning brushes is available for different wedge and barrel types, allowing the correct brush to be selected for the equipment being maintained.
