The CCL 9mm Prestressing Strand Wedge is a precision-machined, 3-piece anchorage component designed for use with 15mm diameter 7-wire prestressing strand. Supplied as a complete assembly with O-ring, the wedge is ready for immediate use within compatible CCL barrel and anchor systems. The wedge features a 13mm external form, this allows the wedge to grip the 15mm strand size while remaining compatible with applications requiring the smaller 13mm external wedge profile.
Each segment is manufactured to ensure consistent grip, controlled seating and reliable load transfer during stressing and detensioning operations. The integrated O-ring retains the wedge segments in position, allowing for faster installation and easy maintenance.
This wedge is typically used within enclosed or open-type prestressing grips, forming the critical interface between the strand and the anchorage system. When installed correctly, it provides secure mechanical interlock with the strand while minimising slip and pull-in losses.
CCL wedges are made in the UK and produced under controlled conditions to maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish and repeatable performance across high-volume production environments.
