The CCL 7mm Prestressing Wire Wedge is a precision-machined, 2-piece anchorage component designed for use with 7mm diameter prestressing wire. Supplied as a complete assembly with O-ring, the wedge is ready for immediate use within compatible CCL barrel and anchor systems.
 
Each segment is manufactured to ensure consistent grip, controlled seating and reliable load transfer during stressing and detensioning operations. The integrated O-ring retains the wedge segments in position, allowing for faster installation and easy maintenance.
 
This wedge is typically used within enclosed or open-type prestressing grips, forming the critical interface between the wire and the anchorage system. When installed correctly, it provides secure mechanical interlock with the strand while minimising slip and pull-in losses.
